Continuing our re-vibe detox challenge in 2025 and having explored daily practices for your body, mind spirit, we now discover the daily practices for your spirit in part 4.

Your skin is the largest organ and over 70% of what is applied to the skin can be absorbed.

Make sure you clean your skin care routine and even your household products (cleaning, candles, perfume etc) from toxic chemicals that contain endocrine disruptors which can damage + unbalance hormones. Remember you inhale these!

When checking your household and personal care products for hormone disruptors, look out for these common harmful ingredients:

  • Phthalates: Often hidden in "fragrance" or "parfum" - these chemicals disrupt endocrine function and reproductive health
  • Parabens: Look for ingredients ending in -paraben (methylparaben, propylparaben) - these preserve products but mimic estrogen
  • BPA/BPS: Found in plastics and can linings - these chemicals interfere with hormone signalling
  • Triclosan: An antibacterial agent in soaps and toothpaste that can affect thyroid function
  • Chemical Sunscreens: Oxybenzone and octinoxate can disrupt hormones - opt for mineral-based alternatives

💡 BIO-HACK: Download the Yuka app to easily scan your products and check their safety ratings. All eyeam products score 93% for being clean and free from hormone-disrupting chemicals!

Simple swaps to make:

  • Switch to natural cleaning products or make your own with vinegar, baking soda, and essential oils
  • Choose glass or stainless steel containers instead of plastic
  • Opt for fragrance-free or naturally scented products
  • Use natural personal care products with clean, recognisable ingredients
  • Select organic produce when possible to avoid pesticide exposure

Daily practices for the skin:

  • Hydrate inside and out – Drink plenty of clean filtered water and use a hydrating moisturiser like our incredible Inflammaging Skin Solution: to calm redness, soothe irritation and protect skin from damage.
  • Practice Affirmations to work on your psycho-dermatology - Stress is a huge factor for inflammatory skin disorders, making affirmations a valuable tool for improving skin conditions through positive mindset shifts which lowers inflammation. By incorporating affirmations into your skincare routine with our stack the hack method, you can rewire your brain's neural pathways and potentially influence your skin's response to stress and environmental factors.
  • Nourish with intention – Feed your skin with nutrient-rich serums and oils (think vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and natural plant-based ingredients).
  • Get 10 minutes of sunlight – this does three things: sunlight makes you smile, releasing happy hormones and two: produces vitamin D which boosts your serotonin. and three: helps modulate your cortisol production to let your body + organs know it’s time to start the day: this helps functions like energy and digestion kick start.
Are you ready to ReVIBE? Let’s elevate together.
