Pumpkin spice season is here, but instead of reaching for the overly processed version, why not sip on something that’s as healing as it is delicious? This anti-inflammatory pumpkin turmeric spice latte is hormone-friendly, nourishing, and packed with fall flavour. Think cosy, creamy, and comforting, but with benefits that go beyond just taste.

Why This Latte?

Turmeric is the powerhouse ingredient here — a golden root known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Paired with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove, this latte isn’t just a seasonal treat; it’s a functional ritual. It’s caffeine-free, dairy-free, and gives you that warm, spiced hug without the jitters.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup non-dairy milk (coconut, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil, melted
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp fresh grated ginger or ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground clove
  • 1/8 tsp ground cardamom
  • Pinch of black pepper (to activate turmeric)

Optional: sweeteners like maple syrup (avoid honey if keeping vegan)

¼ cup full-fat coconut milk or whey protein (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, add all ingredients (except the topping coconut milk) and whisk over low heat.
  2. Cook for around 5 minutes, or until everything is heated through and well combined. The puree should dissolve, though the spices may still be a little textured.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend on high until smooth and slightly frothy.
  4. For the topping, steam your coconut milk (or protein) until it becomes foamy. If you don’t have a steamer, you can blend it separately to create that froth.
  5. Pour the latte into your favourite mug, spoon the foamy topping on, and dust with a little extra cinnamon.

eyeam Tip

For added balance, pair this latte with a few drops of our Hormone Check Drops, which also contain turmeric — to maximise its anti-inflammatory benefits.
