I think we spend so much time talking about how our skin and body age, but nowhere near enough time talking about our brain.

Your brain can influence how you age too.

Thanks to neuroplasticity, it can continue to adapt and form new connections throughout your life. And the things you repeatedly do.

How you move, sleep, learn and even think, all give your brain inputs.

For me, longevity isn’t about trying to stop ageing.

It’s about supporting my brain + body so I can keep feeling like myself as I age.

And for my 60 year old homeopathic mum, it's about staying sharp to live her everyday life.

Here are four things we prioritise.

1. BUILD MUSCLE

I used to be terrified of lifting weights because I thought I’d get bulky.

Now, strength training is one of my non-negotiables.

And not just because of how it makes my body look (which it a great bonus).

Exercise supports brain health, and resistance training is associated with benefits for cognition as we age. Building and maintaining muscle also becomes increasingly important for strength, metabolic health + physical independence.

MY BIO-HACK: I strength train consistently 3-4x a week (2 upper, 2 lower or mixed if I don't have time for 4), prioritise protein and something I used to completely neglect — actually recover afterwards.

This is where I use our Magnesium Bi-Phase Body Treatment Spray after training post sauna + ice bath recovery with a good self massage. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, and I love using the spray as part of my post-workout routine when my body feels tired or achy. And if you don't have access to a sauna or ice bath - hot and cold shower work just as well. This helps your body deal with stress better, so you can take on any chaos your day throws at you.

Because longevity isn't about destroying yourself in the gym.

Train. Recover. Adapt. Repeat.

2. KEEP LEARNING SOMETHING NEW

Your brain loves novelty.

Learning a new skill asks your brain to pay attention, adapt and create or strengthen neural connections.

And it doesn't need to mean learning Mandarin or taking up the piano.

Take a different route to work. Learn a new dance. Try a new workout. Read about something you know nothing about. Brush your teeth with your opposite hand.

Basically: stop letting your brain live entirely on autopilot.

This is also why neuroplasticity is such a big part of what we're creating at eyeam world.

Our workshops aren't about giving you more information to consume (more coming soon).

They're about giving your brain new experiences, tools + inputs that you can actually take into your life.

3. TAKE YOUR SLEEP SERIOUSLY

This is probably the least sexy bio-hack — but one of the ones I care about most.

Sleep is active recovery time for your brain.

It's essential for things like learning and memory, and sleep is also closely connected with the brain's glymphatic clearance system (brain detox pathway).

So before adding another supplement or £2,000 bio-hacking machine, I would look at your sleep. Are you getting 7-9 hours of sleep?

MY NIGHT-TIME STACK: I use our Magnesium Glymphatic Sleepy Butter on my feet and stomach, slow my breathing down, habit stacked with Ï am protected" and putting a red light lamp on to try to create a proper transition between being “on” all day and going to sleep.

I also love pairing it with our I Am Calm Meditation Track when my brain won't switch off. This is the best anti-ageing hack for your brain.

Because you can’t expect your brain to perform at its best if you never give it time to recover.

4. CHANGE THE WAY YOU SPEAK TO YOURSELF

This is the one people might roll their eyes at.

But positive self-talk isn't just about standing in front of the mirror telling yourself you're amazing.

Repeated thoughts are repeated inputs.

Neuroplasticity means our brains change in response to experience and repetition. That doesn't mean an affirmation magically rewires your brain overnight — but it does mean the patterns we repeatedly practise matter.

I became obsessed with this during my own healing journey.

Instead of constantly telling myself:

My skin is awful.

My hormones are broken.

Why is my body doing this to me?

I started changing my narrative.

Not pretending everything was perfect — but becoming much more intentional about the thoughts I was rehearsing every single day. Declaring what I wanted to see happen until it did.

MY BIO-HACK: Pick one thought you want to practise and attach it to something you already do. Habit Stack it like:

Apply your skincare → affirmation. Aka the eyeam prescription that I cannot live without.

Use your Magnesium Sleepy Butter → I am protected

Walk to work → Look up and practce gratitude.

Before bed → I Am Calm Meditation Track.

Small inputs. Repeated often.

That's where it gets interesting, and that's where you see results.

5. Practice Faith

Countless studies have shown that people who regularly attend religious services or practice an active faith live longer, with major studies showing a lower risk of early death compared to non-religious peers.

In my personal life, I noticed my stress and skin completely transformed the more I leant into this practice. Surrendering to the creator of the Universe took the load off my back and helped me achieve more than I could ever think.

MY BIO-HACK: Talk with your creator - Free flow in a journal by starting with:

"Hi Creator of the Universe.. God" and just start writing, you'll be shocked what happens.

THE WAY YOU AGE ISN'T JUST ABOUT YOUR SKINCARE

Build muscle. Learn. Sleep. Watch your internal dialogue. Have Faith.

None of these are particularly complicated.

And that's kind of the point.

I think bio-hacking has become synonymous with doing more — more machines, more supplements, more tracking, more optimisation.

But some of the most important things we can do for our future selves are the things we can actually repeat for years.

That's the philosophy behind everything we're creating at eyeam world too.

Movement. Recovery. Neuroplasticity. Nervous-system support. Community.

Not because I want to stop myself from ageing.

I want to support how well I age.
